The Maharajas' Express is not a "sleeper train" in the traditional sense, but a luxury tourist train that provides a royal experience with accommodations in opulent cabins, not just beds. It offers four types of cabins—Deluxe, Junior Suite, Suite, and Presidential Suite—all featuring en-suite bathrooms and modern amenities like Wi-Fi, LCD TVs, and climate control. The all-inclusive tariff covers meals, guided excursions, premium drinks, and butler service, creating a luxurious "palace on wheels" experience across India.

  • Deluxe Cabin: Double or twin-bedded cabins with en-suite bathrooms.
  • Junior Suite: Larger cabins with en-suite bathrooms.
  • Suite: Double-bedded cabins with panoramic windows and features like a bathtub.
  • Presidential Suite: Occupies an entire carriage and includes a separate drawing/dining room, a master bedroom, and a second bedroom. 

On-board facilities
