Reliance Industries

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) was founded by Dhirubhai Ambani in 1966 as a small textile mill in Gujarat, later growing into a massive conglomerate. It pioneered equity culture in India with its 1977 IPO, subsequently expanding into petrochemicals, refining (including the Jamnagar refinery), telecommunications (Jio), and retail. Today, it is India’s largest private sector company.
